Problems Uploading to Streamline
I've been trying to upload our animation to Autodesk Streamline, but it always times out. The file is 118MB, well under the 250MB limit.
Any suggestions? |

Re: Problems Uploading to Streamline
There might be a connection timeout / browser timeout in whatever browser you're using. I uploaded my animation (94 MB) using firefox with no hassles. Or somewhere along the line from your computer to the streamline, there might be some weird router thing that's limiting connection times.

I'm feeling good now, because the file became messed up when we uploaded it last year we essentially didn't get to compete too much. If anyone else is having trouble, just be persistant, there are going to be a lot of people trying to upload in the next few days. |

Try again if you need to, looks like they fixed it.

Teams,
We have cleared up a disk space issue, and uploading should run smoothly now. If you have any issues, please contact Autodesk support. Regards, Peter Maxfield Autodesk FIRST Pacific NW Volunteer Coordinator |

Re: Problems Uploading to Streamline
Hi Kevin,
I uploaded your file finally using the Streamline ProjectPoint 6.1.1240.3 software. The program compressed your file from 76MB to 48MB for the upload. However, it took several attempts for this to work. Streamline I noticed, if the transfer rate was 0 kB/sec for about 30 seconds are longer it would interrupt the connection and the transfer. It would allow you to try again. About the fourth time it worked. Whew!! The web upload that we tried didn't reveal this info to us...just the standard default I.E. page error message. Try downloading this file to see if it works for you. 342 Animation Regards, Chuck |

Re: Problems Uploading to Streamline
we handed in our animation on streamline a day early, the Monday before it was due, and I made sure that the animation worked within Streamline. However, when i checked back on Tuesday, our animation file size was 0kb... So i uploaded the animation again even though it was after 8a.m.
I hope we won't get penalized for that... |
