Programming for Vex robots
Hey our team just recently got the vex robots and for programming and it doesn't say on the CD what code it is in. Has anyone found out yet? And for the game instructions, is the game information on the CD or are we going to find out the day of the competition at Atlanta?

Re: Programming for Vex robots
You have exactly ten seconds to post a complete description of the kit, including photos. How big are VEX 'bots? Do you have the rules of the competition? Spill!

Re: Programming for Vex robots
If i understand you correctly you are asking what language the VEX programming is, it is a type of C called easyc you have to use the easy block programming described in the program from intelitek or you can use the c from mplab and the mcc18 compiler like for the FRC robots but you need a different ifiloader that you can get from ifirobotics.com
I hope that answers your problem the question was a little unclear, Cuog |

You are a bit behind. Most teams have been designing their robots for a month now... Has your team registered for the competition? Regards, Mike |

Re: Programming for Vex robots
Check the date on when this thread was started.
This thread was started for the 2005 challenge where only 52 teams were chosen to compete at Atlanta. They didn't come out with the programming module and had no information on it, so we were just wondering. We have about 4-5 teams now at our school, but all the regionals are soo far away, so we're just competiting at CSUN. Thanks though. |
