Mentoring another team?

I've been contemplating mentoring another team in animation, but completely unsure about how to go about doing this. I'm still in high school, and would need to continue running my own team, but I'd like to help out another team. Any suggestions?

Re: Mentoring another team?

My first thought would be to find another team in your area that needs help in animation or wants to start one. Then go before the season and help train the animators. Most teams just starting AVA would love to have an animation mentor becuase they are so rare.

Re: Mentoring another team?

It is great that you want to help another team- especially with animation.

How about forming a local area group from several teams and work together on something. We tried that a few years ago but had nobody experieinced enough to do the training. You could do something really great if you all work together.

I wish we lived near you....
