Who loves Cyber-Blue?

229 loves Cyber-Blue...

We've been next to you guys in the pits 4 times (Buckeye 2002, Houston 2003, Atl 2004, 2005) during my time on 229, and each time it has been a GREAT experience. Your team has always been friendly, helpful, and overall just cool to "hang" with. You guys are awesome pit partners (even if you do build those silly pit displays... ).

Also -- congratulations on your finals performance. Those QF matches were incredible. You guys gave us one TOUGH fight. We were hoping you'd slip to the 2nd round so we could partner with you (believe me, we'd rather be WITH you than AGAINST you.)

229 <3 234

Because of all your amazing-ness, I may buy a futon in your honor:
http://www.futoncreations.com/cyberblue.html

Kudos to you for being such an incredible, dynamic team.
You'll always have friends from Upstate NY,
John

PS - How about coming to Finger Lakes as your "Travel" regional in 2006?

Team Phoenix 703 loves Cyber Blue!

You guys were the best finals partners that we could have asked for. Thanks for contributing to the wonderful experience we had.

ps
our apologies to 118, 229, and 312 for the rough play in the Curie QFs. It was a testiment to the respect we had for your scoring ability.

Re: Who loves Cyber-Blue?

I know i love Cyber-Blue. I loved seeing them play at Midwest in 2003 and 2004. I was sad to see that they weren't there this year. Everyone on team 234 are just awesome people. The guy with the spiked hair was awesome also.

P.S thanks for the shirt

Re: Who loves Cyber-Blue?

I went to a high school that played football against Perry Meridian (the high school that 234 draws from). On Thursday at the Championship, I was talking to one of their mentors (I didn't get his name). The exchange went like this:

Me: You know, I went to Terre Haute South high school.
Him: I'm sorry?
Me: I said, "I went to Terre Haute South".
Him: No, I heard you, I'm just sorry.

Funny guy!

I believe the mentor's name is Kevin Kelly, David Kelly's father. I know for myself, and all of my team, we greatly appreciate the kind words that you all have for our team. Anytime we could help any one with anything, do not hesitate to ask. Thanks!

Re: Who loves Cyber-Blue?

I hope they come back to the UCF regional, it was great having them there. Their backboard with pictures of all the robots was a great idea and helpful service to many teams. They have an award-winning mentor and just a plain cool drive team. I went to their pits in Atlanta just to shake hands with some of the guys in their pits to let them know how much I admire their team.

Re: Who loves Cyber-Blue?

While 116 has had minimal interaction with CyberBlue in the past, we respect you guys a lot. Hopefully, if we continue to ineract with you guys we'll love you too!
It sounds like you guys are a lot like team 122 from what JVN was talking about. We are almost always pitted next to them, (VCU every year we've gone, Annapolis 2004, 2005, unsure about 2003, Atlanta 2005) and they are always helpful and a lot of fun to be pitted next to.

We loved playing with Cyber Blue and 703 in the elimination rounds of Curie. We had some good matches, and got along great.

Re: Who loves Cyber-Blue?

I love Cyberblue, because Ryan Dognaux is probably the main reason that I was so inspired to join FIRST in the first place.

Congratulations on having some great achievements in your time as a team, and thanks for being so nice 234.

Re: Who loves Cyber-Blue?

I <3 Cyber Blue too!
...mostly because Ryan and Sam always have blue hair and I always have some shade of purple Also, like JVN, we are almost always right next to 234 (and let me tell you, having Scott Ritchie watching over your every move in the pits can be intimidating )
