This applies to not only me but anyone who has a similar question:


I'm interested in working on the OpenFIRST project. I read the contributor's howto, I know I'm familiar with at least some of the technologies involved in the project, and I'm ready to start.

What do I do now?

Firstly, it's great that you want to help, we're a project that always welcomes new volunteers.

The next step is generally to talk to someone who's currently involved with the project and fletch out some of the details like what specifically to work on, who else is currently working on (or supervising) that area (and therefore who you should be talking to), etc. along with going through administrative details with me like setting up an @openfirst.org e-mail address for you, Bugzilla and CVS access if applicable, etc.
