Thanks Mike Martus - Small Engine Extraordinaire!
Special thanks goes out to Mike Martus for helping me diagnose the problem with my 21 year old lawnmower engine that just wouldn't run. With his suggestions, expertise, and advice, I was able to avoid a heft repair bill, and get this antique gem running once again! Just like Mike said, the problem turned out to be a rubber diaphragm in the carb that was worn out.
Thanks also goes out to everyone who responded in the "Lawnmower Engine Starting Tips" thread. Here's the video of it starting on the first pull! (Be sure to crank up your sound )What a great way to end the day huh? Last edited by sanddrag : 03-10-2005 at 21:24. |

Ahahahahahahahaha!!! That is by far the funniest lawnmower I have ever seen.
And... congratulations on finally getting that fossil running. |
