**FIRST EMAIL**/Championship Registration Opens Tomorrow, October 13, 2005!

Greetings Teams:

As planned, Championship (CMP) registration will open to pre-qualified teams and teams in Tiers 4, 5 and 6 tomorrow 12:00 noon EDT, October 13, 2005.

To check if your team is eligible, please view the eligibility criteria at http://www.usfirst.org/robotics/2006/cmp_elig.htm and the Tier Listing at http://www.usfirst.org/robotics/2006/tierlist.htm

To register for the CMP please do the following:

· go to the Team Information Management System at http://www.usfirst.org/robotics/res_art2.htm and enter your logon and password;
· go to Event Registration, Championship; register team if eligible.

Please note that even if you are eligible to register for the CMP you will not be able to do so until you have registered for a Regional Event.

PAYMENT INFORMATION FOR ADDITIONAL EVENTS & THE CHAMPIONSHIP

For 2006 any team interested in participating in an additional Regional Event or the CMP will not be registered for the event until FIRST Finance receives an acceptable form of payment.

When a team selects an additional event and/or the CMP - the team's selection will be put on hold, pending receipt of the FIRST acceptable form of payment. Once FIRST Finance has received an acceptable payment for your team, we will move the team's event selection from "pending" status to "registered" for such event.

Thursday October 20, 2005 12:00 noon EDT Championship registration will open for Tier 3
Tuesday November 1, 2005 12:00 noon EST Championship registration will open for Tier 2

Registration for additional teams will open on November 11th, 2005 12:00 noon EST
