[OCCRA]: There are still 2 OCCRA events this year!

Let's not forget that the OCCRA season is not over---not by a long way! Even if your robot is through for the year, the All-Female Tournament is Saturday. All are invited to Lawrence Tech to cheer the ladies on or work the tournament as volunteers. We have 14 teams competing this year and your support is still needed!
The final event of the year is the awards banquet on December 8th. OCCRA participants can get free tickets fom their coaches; family and friends can purchase them for $5. Refreshments will be served, audiovisual entertainment (season recaps) will be played, awards will be handed out (including the naming of the team for the Foundation Award and the recipients of the countywide MVP awards), and three more inductees will be named for the OCCRA Hall of Fame. A group shot of all students in the league will be taken before we break for the night. Last year we had over 400 people attend and the event was a huge success. It's our last chance to celebrate the fantastic accomplishments of the 2005 season, so I hope to see you all there!

I know that our coach is ordering the tickets for us. He is contacting Terri Kroll at Oakland schools. Yesterday I believe she sent an email with all of the information you need to all of the coaches. I'm pretty sure that tickets need to ordered soon. Hopefully this helps.

Yes, the coach orders the tickets by calling Terri at 248-209-2432. They will either send them to your school or hold them for you at the door.
