Go to Post What I would really love to see is having the teams try to solve a problem that is real scientists are trying to solve right now. Wouldn't it be cool if a team came up with a robot design that could solve one of the world's worst problems? Talk about FIRST publicity! - Beth Sweet [more]

Light and Line Following Sensors

I got Light Sensor Kit and Line Following Sensor Kit. The sample code for these sensors output to screen only. Is there sample code that have the sensors control the motors? Should I get another light sensor kit and should I get two ultrasonic range finder kits? The optical shaft encoder kit and the ultrasonic range finder kit are out of stock at both Radio Shack and VEX Labs.

Re: Light and Line Following Sensors

There is some sample code for the old Robovation kit that can help you:

Click on Programming and there will be line tracker and Light/Dark demonstration code under "IR Reflective Sensor"
