Vex Lab pieces
Now these being competition legal (except the pneumatics) what does everyone think of them, and what pieces have gotten your attention the most
Personally I love alot of the new pieces, I love the C-channel as being in the competition last year it is a huge impovement over the L-pieces from last year. I also like the sliding pieces, the only thing I dislike is the fact that they are a bit heavy. Vex Labs has a very useful table that I hope may help some people : http://www.vexlabs.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=152 I found it helpful to build a good robot best of luck to everyone this year |

Re: Vex Lab pieces
The new pieces look EXTREMEMLY helpful. I'm sure all everyone has always said, "man, I could build a sweet robot only if I had one of these". As for that chart, I totally want to do a 84 to 12 tooth gear ratio now that it says that its dangerous
. Seriously though, a little Vex bot with a spinning rotor of doom going 15 ft/s ![]() |

Re: Vex Lab pieces
but at that gearing the torque of the motor would be almost nothing, meaning that it would stop on contact of another object
