Looks really nice! The one thing that bugs me is that the darker sidebars make reading the inside difficult. (My eye gets drawn away from the text.) Not sure if there's an easy fix for that, or if that is even a problem for others. Other than that though... nice layout and content.

Great work. It looks really good; one small suggestion is that it would be nice if there were more contrast on the left side between the latest news headlines and the background (and, of course, the other text that's the same colour on the same background) since that's a bit more difficult to read than it should be.
