$200 vex starter kit

the vex starter kit is on sale at rat shack for $250, with a $50 rebate. don't know how long the sale price will last, but the rebate is good through the end of december.

ok, so the sale price is also good 'til 12/31.

er. oh, yeah. if you don't feel like walking down to the store and carrying it home, they have free ground shipping on orders over $50.

nothing on the website indicates that it is not on sale in stores. here is the link to the rebate form.

Our local Radio Shack was aware of the rebate, but not the lower price. After confirming at their website, they honored the lower price with a manual $50 price correction, as it rang up at $300, not $250. Of course, your experience may vary.

I printed out the Radioshack web page with the $199 price and brought it to my local Radioshack store. The manager had to OK the price change down to $250,
since it rang up as $300. I also got the $50 rebate slip at the store. Great deal on a great kit!
