View Program Size?
Does anyone have any ideas how to view free space left in the controller when using EasyC?
I know your thinking like what on earth are you asking that for when the 2006 controller has 4X memory, but let me tell you....Last year we couldn't get 3/4 of what we developed into the 2005 controller. It was dis-hearting. We are programing / prototyping on the 2005 controller with some code, so it would be nice to be able to view program size or amount of code space left in the controller somewhere. I think last year, what we did was compile the program, then view the program in MPLAB somehow with the HEX files...I'll have to dig up my notes on that from last year. |

Re: View Program Size?
The size of your compiled program will appear in the lower right corner of the screen, after you have compiled your project. As soon as you make any changes to your project after a compilation, this number will disappear as it will no longer be relevant.
We are expecting programs to normally be between 20-35 k in size. |
