Size of the Pan-Tilt's Sweep?
Searched CD and didn't find it, so here goes.
Using the supplied Hitec HS-322HD servo on the pan-tilt mechanism, what is the range in degrees that will it pan the camera from left to right? |

Re: Size of the Pan-Tilt's Sweep?
Even though the servos themselves will go through a range of well over 180 degrees, the pan linkage won't work properly through more than about 170 degrees.
(In fact, we used that fact to temporarily make the assembly swivel in the other direction by having the bar stick out the opposite side of the servo from normal.) |
