Re: Problem with freezing frames in LabVIEW
Joe,
I see you have posted a new camera download (1/27/06). I tried both the 1/25/06 download and the 1/27/06 download and I get the same error message. I saw another person post a question about error 7. and you asked what exactly it was telling him. I continue to get the same error. Error 7 occurred at Open File+.vi:Open Possible reasons: LabVIEW: File not found. The file might have been moved or deleted, or the file path might be incorrectly formatted for the operating system. For example, use \ as path separators on Windows, : on Mac OS, and / on Linux. NI-488: Non-existent board. Not sure what the NI-488 is. Thanks for your help. |

Re: File Open Problems in LabVIEW
I have been getting the exact same error whenever I try to start the CMUCam 2 GUI application. Is there any way to tell what file isn't loading? I installed the "original" file to C:\CameraStuff, then the 20060131 patch in the same place. Is there some other directory where I should put the files, or am I missing a newer patch, or what?
Thanks for your help. |

Re: File Open Problems in LabVIEW
No, there isn't a newer patch. This specific error is occurring because the program could not find the "default.cfg" file in the directory that the "CMUCam2 demo.llb" is in. This usually means you did not download and extract the full contents of the "original" source code (go to the Developer Zone to get it, NOT on ChiefDelphi) into the directory, or somehow you extracted and ran the "patch" in a different directory (or a subdirectory).
See if this is the case, and if not let me know. -Danny |
