Re: pic: Team 81 Programmer's Teaser
It does look a bit like the Mini-RC (the one before Vex came into play), but that one had a serial port.
My first instinct is to say gumstix, given that people have interfaced them with IFI controllers before, but it looks a little big for that. |

Re: pic: Team 81 Programmer's Teaser
Well, it appears to be some sort of co-processor. I assume that the black bar is the part no. censored out?

Planning on running uClinux are we? Looks like an ADI BF533 STAMP board.
I prefer Windows CE. Last edited by fowlerm : 07-02-2006 at 10:12. |

Re: pic: Team 81 Programmer's Teaser
Just a wild guess, but might it be anything along the lines of a closed loop feedback controller for quadrature encoders?

Re: pic: Team 81 Programmer's Teaser
Well, you can clearly see the BlackFin logo, so It's most likely doing DSP from the camera. The question is, what are you doing with that kind of horsepower?
EDIT: And, I agree with one of the previous posters. That's almost definitely the ADSP-BF533 evaluation board. Last edited by steveg : 09-02-2006 at 16:29. |
