Can the music be continuous between the 30 seconds of animation and the credits?
Does that music have to end for the one second of black separating the animation and the credits, or can it be continuous? The only reason I can imagine why it would have to be cut off is because Autodesk says that they might not show the credits with the rest of the animation. Does anyone know for sure?
Thank you. |

Re: Can the music be continuous between the 30 seconds of animation and the credits?
I've never been able to find a definite answer on this, but since the judging will take place online, the credits will be shown should the judges choose to watch that far. At the competitions last year, they were showing the animations in the pits on a few screens duiring lunch, and they cut those off before the credits. I can't think of any reason that it would DQ the animation, but I'd contact someone about it to get an official answer. Dave might be able to tell you, but I don't know.

I think if people can talk during the credits then it doesnt matter. I was wondering if you can play it from start to finish of your animation or is the first 5 secs silent.

I believe the first 5 seconds (splash screen) must be silent, but don't quote me on it
