Pneumatics tests

We tested our pneumatics Wednesday night, with a test fire as well. The yard stick was only used as a replacement for the hopper that has been removed for improvements.

Re: Pneumatics tests

Seems kinda a slow way to shoot, and a little low to shoot from. Also seems odd to use pneumatics for the angle because then it restricts where you can shoot from. by the angle i would say you are a right in front of the platform shooter.

Tim, I hope that when you were a rookie team someone didn't shoot down your design as being too slow or odd

I think it's just another way of doing the job. I like how you load the balls into the shooter. How big will the hopper be? Will you also be able to harvest balls or will your human player have to load them.

Being a Star Trek, fan I was hoping that a team with the number 1701 would go with a ST theme

Enjoy your rookie year and have fun.

Re: Pneumatics tests

It wasn't ment to be something that was negative. But something the team could build upon. Im sure they have seen how some of us shoot already, but to get them thinking about how mechanisms work next year. I never said it was a bad design, in all reality when i first say the game i wanted a single angled shooter, that loaded the balls very similarly to that.
