Help with FIRST-related Wikimedia licensing

Hello,

I created the Wikipedia page Dave Lavery on March 2nd and I am ready to upload a picture I took today with Mr. Lavery's permission, but I am a little confused as to what license I need to use. I want to put it in public domain, but since it has a picture of team 116's crate and 2006 logo, does it mean I need their permission too? Should I crop that out?

I just read the consent and release form, and this seems to be rather interesting:

If, however, the work is deemed not to be a work made for hire by a court of competent jurisdiction, then this
Consent and Release To Produce Physical Likeness (“Release”) shall constitute an irrevocable assignment by the
Participant of the worldwide copyright in the work to FIRST.

Would that interfere?

Can somebody please help?

Ok, after some thought, I see it as this. 1: I took the picture. 2: I had permission.
