Clogging?
So, many shooters are gravity fed, and some use an elevator, but if the balls don't come in a nice single-file line, how do you stop clogging without using up any more vectors? if you have funnel, there's bound to be a time when 2 balls get stuck/clogged, does a quick shake solve this? how do (if you can) avoid this, and how common is it?
pictures will be greatly appreciated ![]() |

Re: Clogging?
Without using an extra victor, you'd have to radically redesign your hopper to be spiral-shaped or similar. We, on the other hand kept our giant-box style hopper and installed ... The Coffee Can of Doom! It's a coffee can bolted to a window motor on the bottom of the hopper. It keeps the balls agitated amazingly well for its simplicity. However, if you want to copy that, you better not use a coffee can, because we are currently the only robot with MaxWell House parts.

Re: Clogging?
We just have to do a quick wheely or two to unjam our hopper. During the matches, though, we ended up doing more defending than collecting, so we never really had to unjam our hopper.

Re: Clogging?
I'm disappointed. I was so looking forward to a vigorous discussion of wooden shoe dancing.

Re: Clogging?
We have a thing we call "the hopper flopper" Its a long bent up hollow rotating rod that agitates the balls.
