TEam 612 Websites

Hey everyone,
i would like to take this time to let you guys know something about our web-team.
This year we were looking forward to create a website in Flash, and really had no one to helps out with it. Somehow, through our connections, we were able to recruit two Student, Murad Khan and Bilal Javed, from PAKISTAN, to help us with our website.
these guys did a great job and we were able to get a dynamic flash website.

So Team 612 is now i guess is an International Team, cause we have members overseas...haha. Let us know whatelse we can do to improve our website as far as organization goes, and please forwrd your comments/compliments to the webmasters.....cause they are the one who actually deserve it. Thanls


Also i would like to point your attention to www.wikibotics.org
As the name states, its all about the mechanical, programming and systems knowledge based website. ANYONE can add information about Robotics in this website, and if you guys need help with anything you can search for it.
I would like to invite every single one of you to go ahead and help us create this robotics knowledge based site. Thanks

This thread would probably be better off in the Web Design/Showcase forum... but, congratulations on becoming an international team... that's definitely a bit of an unusal way of promoting the mission of FIRST.

Since you want constructive criticism... I think that the wikibotics site doesn't have enough content to be useful. It certainly doesn't measure up to FIRSTwiki in terms of content, number of contributors, and popularity. I think it would be more useful to contribute to that site rather than having a separate and less informative site.

FIRSTwiki is more ont he lines on information about FIRST.

our wikibotics has some stuff in it yet, but we want people to add more stuff to it. Thats the reason i requested the FIRST Community to add more stuff to it, so it will be helpful in the time to come
