Re: pic: Manchester Flood
The rain in New England is horrible.
A bunch of towns in New Hampshire and Massachusettes are pretty much closed. I didn't have school today because of rain! I got lucky. A bunch of people need to get their basements pumped by the Fire Dept. My basement is fine. There's just a small leak because of a crack in the foundation. Just imagine if it was snow! ![]() |

Re: pic: Manchester Flood
Woah!!!
That's crazy-flooded, like 15feet! I hope nothing at DEKA gets too damaged. (However, I can clearly see that DEKA's basement is fully under water) Good Luck mill-yard, I hope the flood insurance actually pays-out ![]() |

Re: pic: Manchester Flood
here are some more pics I took... Manchester schools have today and tomorrow off! To get in and out of my town we have to go through National Gaurd Check Points and present ID and reason for travel. Unless its "to get home" you get turned away!

Re: pic: Manchester Flood
For those to lazy to copy/paste Greg's link to his other pics:
http://robotphotos.org/v/members/fir...g+Needel/flood All I can say is wow.. I have only been to the area of the Millyard a few times, and I don't know the lay of the land that well, but I'm guessing a lot of land which isn't supposed to be underwater is from these pics. My hope is that everyone stays safe from the floods. Property can be fixed, roads can be reconstructed, paperwork can be re printed, and basements can be cleaned. But all that matters is that no one gets hurt by the raw power of nature as shown in those pictures. It kind of reminds me of what would be a bad photoshop picture of The Millyard complex in the Niagara River, but it's a real picture. I just can't believe it. Re: pic: Manchester Flood
oh wow. Yea they are evacuating people from manch. into my high school so school is cancelled for the next three days.
Luckily even with the brook in our back yard the water has stayed outside, but the bridge at the end of the street is covered with 2 inches of water... |

Re: pic: Manchester Flood
The streets around the millyard used to be underwater (before they were streets). It seems they will be underwater again soon.
