PC Control of Vex processor
The sensors and interrupts of the Vex controller can be read pretty easily by downloading the "On Line" code and opening up a terminal emulator, setting the baud rate to 115200 and reading from the appropriate COM port. The Online code also lets you set the motors by moving a slider. Can anyone tell me how that's done? Obviously, a string of some sort is being written. Does anyone know the protocol for that?
Thanks! Tac Last edited by tacman1123 : 31-05-2006 at 08:22. |

Re: PC Control of Vex processor
It would probably be best to connect to serial ports together and use hyper terminal to "sniff" the port. Then you can emulate the online window. We can't release that data for support reasons.
