Ahh yes... remember working on the robot down in the Wedge late at night, trying to find the tools we needed because we couldn't borrow any from the shop... and sending that one kid to the mall to go buy a Leatherman? I really learned to value the Leatherman during those two weeks... And remember how I snuck out of Alden Memorial to avoid having to strike the set for our show (I took the theatre workshop...and the director was forcing everyone to stay and clean up after our show), just so I could make it over to the practice field with you guys? And we still came in dead last?

it doesn't matter that we had problems with our radio and were barely able to drive it during the competition. We had underbody lighting and a sound system on our robot!! Gang Green lives on!!!!

Man, I miss Frontiers. That was the best summer program I have ever been to. I wish I could go every summer for the rest of my life.

Re: Frontiers Robotics at WPI

The problems weren't with our radio. Ken and Brad forgot to charge our batteries....but we STILL kept the winning team immobile after pinning them in auto...and promptly dying! haha good times!
