Re: NFL Pickem Week 3

Sunday
Carolina at Tampa Bay
Carolina looks more solid than the Bucs who look totally out of whack.

Chicago at Minnesota
The Bears D is gonna knock around the Vikings offense all day long.

Cincinnati at Pittsburgh
The Steelers are gonna take it using ball control.

Green Bay at Detroit
Detriot looks like they can actually play defense.

Jacksonville at Indianapolis
The Colts will have a fight on their hands but being home will give them the advantage.

N.Y. Jets at Buffalo
The Bills D will take apart the one dimensional Jets offense.

Tennessee at Miami
The Dolphins may be a dissapiontment but the TIans are disaterous.

Washington at Houston
I think the Skins can take them.

Baltimore at Cleveland
Baltimore D is too tough for the Browns.

N.Y. Giants at Seattle
Seattle doesn't look as strong as last season and the Giants offense looks very very tough.

Philadelphia at San Francisco
The Niners D will not stop McNabb and company.

St. Louis at Arizona
Arizona plays better at home than on the road.

Denver at New England
The Broncos are struggling and New ENgland is really tough to beat at home.

Monday
Atlanta at New Orleans
I'm not feeling so good about the Saints defense.

Re: NFL Pickem Week 3

Sunday
Carolina at Tampa Bay
Tampa looks even worse then the packers, but not as bad as the Raiders.

Chicago at Minnesota
Bears D vs. team without Randy Moss

Cincinnati at Pittsburgh
I still don't think Big Ben will be great for this game, next week for sure.

Green Bay at Detroit
...

Jacksonville at Indianapolis
It will be a hard fought game and i hope to watch it on tv!

N.Y. Jets at Buffalo
Who do the Jets have for outstanding D players?

Tennessee at Miami
Possibly the worst game of the loser bowls?

Washington at Houston
Has Houston won yet?

Baltimore at Cleveland
That D will chew up them Browns.

N.Y. Giants at Seattle
After beating the Eagles and close to the Colts, i must say hmmm...

Philadelphia at San Francisco
What's the 49'ers record vs eagles recently?

St. Louis at Arizona
Coin Flip.

Denver at New England
NE will beat them by less then 13 pts.

Monday
Atlanta at New Orleans
Brees is no match for the QB Vick.

Re: NFL Pickem Week 3

Sunday
Carolina at Tampa Bay even tho i said that Carolina was going to the super bowl, they haven't showed me anything yet
Chicago at Minnesota just because they haven't beat my lions yet and i am a brad Johnson fan
Cincinnati at Pittsburgh come on...do you really think that pits D can stop Carson, chad and rudi?
Green Bay at Detroit i have no idea...i want the lions to win but farve is going to have a feild day
Jacksonville at Indianapolis Peyton is the greatest quarterback out there..that hasn't won a super bowl ha ha. he will pick apart this D because he is much better the Ben.
N.Y. Jets at Buffalo this one is tough, jets have an awesome air game but the bills D incredible.
Tennessee at Miami i hate to do that but Tenn is going to win by a field goal in the 5 thing of overtime when the score was tied 0-0
Washington at Houston Washington will start the season 0-3. Houston is actually a good team, they just aren't good enough to beat any of the really good teams, a.k.a every one in their division. Washington will have trouble on offence and their weak dbs will hurt them.
Baltimore at Cleveland in the clash of the same team..the better, by soooooooooo much, will win
N.Y. Giants at Seattle LETS GO ELI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Philadelphia at San Francisco hey San Fran is good this year. they are 1-1..isn't that more games then they won last year? ha ha No but they are actually doing things this year....they will win by one.
St. Louis at Arizona edge, warner, Fitzgerald, bouldin how can you go wrong.
Denver at New England their troubles will be over this week.

Monday
Atlanta at New Orleans atls D is good but Brees and bush are better. and plus...i don't like Vick

Notre Dame at MSU not because i am a homer but i think that ND is overrated

Re: NFL Pickem Week 3

Sunday
Carolina at Tampa Bay
Third time's the charm, go Panthers.
Chicago at Minnesota
Chicago's offense is starting to click.
Cincinnati at Pittsburgh
Tough one to pick. Pittsburgh on the rebound against the injured Bengals.
Green Bay at Detroit
Not much too say about either team.
Jacksonville at Indianapolis
This one could come back to bite me, Jacksonville is starting to scare me.
N.Y. Jets at Buffalo
Buffalo has the better all-around team.
Tennessee at Miami
Hard to pick Tennessee with their QB situation (I'm not a big VY fan, although I did want Texas to win last year).
Washington at Houston
If only Houston had picked Reggie Bush...
Baltimore at Cleveland
Baltimore keeps rolling.
N.Y. Giants at Seattle
Another tough pick, but Seattle has the better team.
Philadelphia at San Francisco
San Francisco is another team that scares me.
St. Louis at Arizona
Another tough one to pick, hopefully St. Louis learns something called ball-control.
Denver at New England
New England's running game outlasts Denver's.

Monday
Atlanta at New Orleans
Sorry Louisiana, Atlanta is going to spoil your homecoming party.

Re: NFL Pickem Week 3

I am pretty sure that his completion percentage was pretty low becuae of those dropped passes. Alge Crumpler dropped one in the endzone while he was wide open. Our punt team let a touchdown go.
I will say that they did somewhat shut down the run, but IMHO, he didn't run enough. There were many opportunities where he could have run where he didn't. They beat the Falcon's fair and square, but it doesnt mean that Vick is a bad QB and it doenst mean it was his fault either.

Re: NFL Pickem Week 3

Thats your opinion.
I think that running QBs are not good at all.
being able to scramble is good yes.
but when you have more running yards then passing, there is something wrong there.

It's all just a different strategy and style of play. It's not wrong to play the game like that. They do quite well most of the time actually.

Also - Colts are awesome. Indianapolis won and had a lot of players that weren't able to play due to injury, shows just how great they are.

How many years in a row does Vick need to be a terrible passer until the mystique disappears and reality sets in?--Vick is a glorified RB and not a QB

He's had a rating of over 80 only once.

He's had an inordinately high number of turnovers, between fumbles and picks

His best completion percentage is 56%, which is pretty bad. Especially in the WCO which is based on high percentage passes.
