Karthik Kanagasabapathy - 9 years of FIRST experience, lead mentor for team 1114, wining 5 regionals in 3 years and winning the 2006 RCA at Waterloo, winner of the 2005 Waterloo WFFA, member of the Waterloo Regional planning committee, recognized as one of the best strategists in all of FIRST

Tristan Lall - Head Inspector at the Waterloo Regional in 2006 and Head Inspector of the Galileo field at Championships in 2006

Registration will be available to ten teams, with a maximum of ten students and a minimum of one accompanying teacher or mentor. The cost is $5 per person, to cover the cost of lunch. To register, please see our website. The direct link to the registration form is here. (.pdf file)

The presentations will be held at St. Mildred’s-Lightbourn School, located between Ford Drive and Trafalgar Road, in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, very close to the Oakville Go and Via Train stations.

Re: FIRST Seminars

The SWAT seminars are quickly approaching and time is running out to register. I strongly urge all local teams to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity. How often to you get the opportunity to learn mechanical design from one of the best designers in FIRST, Ian Mackenzie. What about programming skills from the CTO of a company specializing in data acquisition and analysis, Shawn Lim. These guys are not only incredibly knowledgeable, but they are excellent communicators. These seminars will provide loads of valuable information for your upcoming 2007 season.

I hope to see many of you there.
