NASCAR '06 Edition

I know there are some NASCAR fans on here, and I'm curious to see what you all think of the season. What are some suprises this year, and what did you expect all along, who's your favorite driver, and any picks for the chase in the last 6 races.

Personally, I'm rather suprised to see a different Joe Gibbs car other than Tony Stewart in the chase. Gauranteed, Denny Hamlin has had a relatively routine season, I thought Tony would've gotten in before Hamlin. I was pretty demoralized that only two Roush Drivers got into the chase, Martin and Kenseth both deserved to be in it, but it was kind of shocking not to see Biffle or Edwards in it either.

I'm picking the sentimental favorite, and I hope Mark Martin can put his 19 years of coming up short on championships to an end this year. That way going to MB2 next year will be less stressful to pursue his great dreams and aspirations.

Anyway, lemme know what ya think!
