Re: Purdue Vex tournament

This was sent out today to many of the teams:

I have been receiving quite a few emails about the status of the Boilermaker Vex Championship Competition. The tournament, which was set to take place on November 12, 2006 has been postponed until spring 2007. FIRST originally outlined the Vex competition season to take place from October 2006 – March 2007, but have now determined that they are not ready to have a competition until late November 2006. In order to fit into the scheduling constraints of Purdue University, we must move the competition to the spring.

Sometime after announcing the new competition date we will begin the competition registration process, which will take place on the Purdue FIRST Programs website and not www.usfirst.org.

I hope that this clears up any questions you currently have about the competition, but if you have any questions please do not hesitate to email me at bcbowen@purdue.edu.

Thank You,
