Science in the Media

Well, I am doing a paper (and eventually a story on the science beat) on science and technology in the media. One of my foci is how to cover it. Another is where journalists tend to go wrong. I've found this article which I think is a good read for anyone in science or media.

I was wondering what everyone else would say? Where does the media go wrong when covering the topic of your special interest? What would you like to see (keeping in mind time/space limitations and the need to write for a not-necessarily-science-people audience)?
