Re: Intersting......

First of all, at this time of night (morning?) everything seems believable. So I think I'll get my rest for kickoff and think on it.
And secondly, why were you searching for swimming pool toys at this this late hour anyways?

Re: Intersting......

I agree it is interesting but only 3 sizes are out of stock at one source. Find more sorces that are out of stock at the same prices and sizes, and then we will know exactly what the game piece is.

Ahhhh, don't you think that this particular pool toy is just that, a pool toy. The first time a robot drives over one, picks one up with an arm that does not have pressure sensitive sensor systems, the first time a team runs into another robot with one of these between the robots..........poof!!! No more inflatable pool toy.

I don't think so.........

Re: Intersting......

I hope its not a pool toy. We had a hard enough time trying to find pool noodles for bumpers last year that were the right type. And then we had to find more noodles after the rookies broke them swordfighting.

I think it would be a cool challenge to have to design your robot in such a way that you will not damage field components.

It wouldn't be so cool to have to inspect it.

Then, by that logic, every FRC game since at least 2004 has been cool.

Exactly, that's why we shouldn't rule it out based on the potential difficulty of handling inflatable toys.
