Which Robots Will Make Einstein?
Which combination of robots do you think you will see in Einstein (the final four alliances at championships). Please vote and comment on what you think the perfect alliance would be and what you think you will see at Einstein. Tell us of why you chose what as well.
Shooters - Scoring robots whose primary function is to score ringers not necessarily by shooting but by placing or by any means. Defender - Defensive bots that block or give trouble to opponents. Ramp - The robot has some sort of ramp or wedge that allows an alliance member to climb on top of them. Lifters - Robots that have some device that can lift your robot off of the ground kind of like a fork lift or something along those lines. I think it will be either Defender/Lifter, Shooter, Shooter or Shooter/Lifter, Shooter, Shooter. I believe that the key is to have two that get points and one trying to guard them. I also think that with this game, guarding isn't as prime as it was last year when you were shooting for the center goal because you will actually be on the spider leg for the most part to score. Re: Einstein Qualifying Robots
I'm not* going to explain my belief of what's going to be on Einstein, but I have an idea.
"not" applies to 99% of FIRST... my team and some mentors on other teams are the only people I will discuss strategy like such with |

Re: Einstein Qualifying Robots
I have to agree that it is a little early to be speculating but Cyber Blue has an idea of who'll end up in Einstein too.

Re: Einstein Qualifying Robots
I think there will be a nice balance. The shooter robot is needed to make the big plays, and the defensive robots r needed to shut down the shooters on the other alliance. A good lifter robot can contribute 60 points to the score, which, to me, seems like the best combination for a winning alliance.
