How to convert from Inventor to 3ds Max

Hey guys,

Well, I don't know how much of a problem this is, but....
Our animation mentor has some parts for our animation made on an older version of Inventor. We were wondering if we could convert it into a 3ds Max file, (I believe it was cooperative with 3ds Max 8) and then pull that max file on 3ds max 9. Any Ideas?

Thanks.

In 3ds max go to "file" on the main tool bar. Then select import, then choose the project file of the inventor file and BAM!! it should be in there. I would also advise converting the object into mesh cause last time i tried to import an inventor file it came in as NURBS. (shudders)

I don't know if it's already in the newer versions of 3dsmax, but in the older versions, you just had to move a plugin file to another folder in the max directory and it would work.
