[FVC]: Some Questions.

Just to clarify some doubts:

Can the cable ties be cut and put on the robot?
Could you use tape to keep the cables in place? If yes, what type of tape is allowed?

What do you mean by cable ties? Do you mean the black plastic zip ties (described as wire tie - 4" on page D8 of the Manual/Inventor's guide)? If so, you can cut them, but you can't use tape of any kind -- Rule <R9b> states "...gluing or attaching in any way that is not provided within the Vex system will NOT be allowed"

If you mean the electrical PWM cables, these may not be cut or taped.
<R9a> "Motors, extension cords... may NOT be altered from their original state in ANY way."

1. The Cable ties can be cut

2. No tape is allowed on the actual VEX robot. However they sometimes make exceptions when putting on team numbers onto the robot.
But NO tape to keep cables in place, just use cable ties.
