Re: pic: 316 Teaser
from my vantage point, it looks like the globe motor is running a lead-screw to make an "arm" move up and down. Looks good, nice wing setup by the way.

I spot two fold down platforms.

Re: pic: 316 Teaser
As do I. Although I can't see any additional lifting mechanisms (i.e. a piston-raised platform), so either that's not on yet or they're only planning to lift to 4". Obviously going for some degree of maneuverability with the omniwheels. Looks good so far, from what un-technical me can decipher.

Re: pic: 316 Teaser
Looks like another "Seagull" type design. I like the Idea of powering your ramps with the big pneumatics so they are not stuck in a down position.
Do they stay flush with the ramp when in the down position? Maybe your goal is to have the ramps lift back up so two robots can be lifted up 12"? Either way, it looks like very fine machining. Best of luck! |

Re: pic: 316 Teaser
by looking at the pic, i can see that it looks like it should lift to 12", they just dont have the whole robot in perspective.
