Wireless Gamepads

Does anyone know if we are allowed to use wireless controllers since they require batteries to power themselves? I know they allow the battery supply to power the chicklet itself but the rules don't say anything about wireless controllers. Please help!

Wireless devices of any kind are illegal. This is too bad because the Chicklet supports the wireless rumble pad 2. We have been using it during field testing. It is great because you do not have to be at the players station to drive the robot. This allows you to inspect the robot while driving it.
