SIM motors
does anyone know the weight of the "SIM Motor"

The small CIM weighs about 2.5 pounds, and the large minibike motor weighs around 5 pounds. And for future reference, the motor is a CIM motor, not a SIM motor.

Which CIM motor?
Small CIM (The one with the nice round housing):1290 grams (2.8 pounds) Large CIM (the one with the oddly shaped housing and the belt pulley): 2405 grams (5.3 pounds) By the way, if you haven't already, appoint someone to keep track of the weight. EVERY part that needs to be weighed should pass through this person and his scale before assembly (and then the assemblies should be weighed to verify the weight). Ideally, the finished robot should be weighed before ship, but this is not always possible. |
