Camera Problems!!!

When we first started using the camera, it had been working properly. Now the camera doesn't connect to the computer.
LEDs on camera sensor go on and off without anything affecting them. Most of the time, all three Leds are on but they vary. We have used the Labview GUI primarily, and recently we tried the Java GUI, which never found the camera. The servos seem to be functioning. However, the camera seems to be unaffected by whatever happens on the computer. We are Easy C for our programming.

does anyone know what we might be doing wrong?

thanks!
