Re: DWF?
thanks.
i read the help file and realized all you have to do is just save the format in inventor. It's just like the java applet on the Autodesk manufacturing community website. |

Re: DWF?
DWF stands for Design Web Format. The format is a vector format that allows viewing at any size on the internet without the loss of resolution like a bitmap image. In addition you can rotate, shade, turn parts in an assembly on/off, section. All of this with the DWF Viewer that is installed with all Autodesk Products.
Here is an example that includes embedded bitmap image on first page, then a combination of 3D and 2D pages. I think the 3D assembly is on page 3 or 4 and unfortunately when I saved it I was zoomed in but you can easily zoom out and rotate the model. The file is quite large (30 meg if I remember correctly). Takes a couple minutes to download. http://home.pct.edu/~jmather/stapler...d%20mather.dwf Our server seems to be really slow today so if it doesn't download try again later. With Design Review now free a lot more functionality can be had like measure and markup and easier combining of different pages. http://dwf.blogs.com/beyond_the_pape...new_in_au.html http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet...&siteID=123112 |
