Where to get MK Batteries in LA cheap
Where did the LA teams get their batteries? How much did you pay? Does anyone know if we can buy directly from MK?

I spoke Thursday with an MK sales representative (via toll-free number on the ES17-12 spec sheet). Unfortunately, there are no direct sales by MK of the ES17-12 batteries to FIRST Teams. Instead, FIRST team sales are routed to the Batteries Plus store in Manchester, NH. The MK sales rep thought that the order would be placed through the store, and the batteries would ship from the nearest MK warehouse. This is NOT the case...the ES17-12 batteries are shipped from the NH store. UPS ground shipping to SoCal is 5 days and ~$50 for 4 batteries.

We ordered from BatteriesASAP.com, which drop shipped from MK's warehouse in Anaheim. I ordered on a Sunday and received them on either Tuesday or Wednesday.

The were about $30 each and $15 shipping for 2.
