Re: Thank you UNLV and Las Vegas

Las Vegas was a great event, with a lot of great teams. We had tons of fun playing there.

Thanks from 254 go out to many people/teams, some of whom I'm sure I'll forget

Team 1425- You guys were great partners. You have a great scoring robot, and we hope to see you at nationals. Our teams were a good fit for each other, and it was fun playing together.

Team 1983- You were great partners as well. You scared everyone driving around with the spoiler, played some good defense, and made some key caps. Good luck getting to Atlanta.

Team 987- You guys are awesome. We couldn't hope to meet a nicer group of people. We had hoped to play with you, but playing against you in the finals was fun too. You have a great program going, and it's only a matter of time until you're considered an elite team by all. It was good getting to know the people on your team at SVR/Vegas, and we hope to hook up with you guys in Atlanta.

Team 233-It was the first time our two teams had met at a regional event before, and unfortunately we didnt get to play with you, but it was fun being pitmates. You guys have a great machine and a great group of people. We hope to play with you either at nationals, or maybe we'll run into you at a regional next year

Team 359- It's always fun when you guys are around. The Hawaiian teams are the friendliest out there, bar none. It was fun chatting with you guys in the pits. Thanks a lot for all the goodies you guys gave us!

Vegas was a blast, and we hope we'll be back in the future. Thanks to everyone who made it happen.

Re: Thank you UNLV and Las Vegas

I want to Thank all the volunteers that made the Vegas Regional run smoothly.

I also wanted to thank all the Florida Teams, 56, 79, 108, and 233 for sitting together and supporting each other. We really showed the kids out west what spirit was all about!!

We represented Florida well, each team bringing home a trophy and 4 out of the 5 teams participating in eliminations.

When I say FLORIDA you say FIRST!!!!!

Lets do it again at Championships!!

Re: Thank you UNLV and Las Vegas

Cory and Ken,

Thanks for your kind words. Team 987 has worked so hard to help bring about a great regional (with some help from our friends in 60 setting up the main field and the machine shop). We have worked even harder to develop the team into the competitive progam that it now represents and it is gratifying and humbling to be complimented by teams such as yours...we look forward to some day actually playing WITH your team as opposed to against your team, Cory. We are making improvements to claw that should translate into more ringers added to our average...hope to share the same division with 39 and 254. How about that all western finals in LV???

Re: Thank you UNLV and Las Vegas

I would like to personally thank all teams that attended Vegas for making it what it was. I am glad we had the oppertunity as rookie teams to see some of the greats in this sport. We have raised the funds and are going to attend nationals where we hope to spike some fear of our defense into the hearts of our opponents...

Thanks again to teams 1425 and 254 for including us in your alliance, had it not been for your faith in an unknown rookie team we would have missed out on the greatest oppertunity we as a team have come across thus far.

Looking at you guys I see what I hope our team will one day become

Thanks

Dave McLaughlin, Team 1983 Driver
