Combining many SLDDRW files into a single file
Does anyone know if it's possible -- and if so, how I can -- combine many separate Solidworks drawing files into a single Solidworks drawing file with multiple sheets?
I'm trying to clean up some sheet metal work by combining the parts' pattern drawings with its bent up drawings. Thanks. ![]() |

Re: Combining many SLDDRW files into a single file
Add a second sheet to the drawing you're looking to make common. Go to the drawing you want to combine from and 'CTRL Copy' all the views, then 'paste' them onto the 2nd sheet you created on the first drawing. Repeat this as many times as necessary.
One thing to keep in mind, in my experience, adding many sheets starts to slow things down, especially if you're dealing with assemblies. |
