12 volt batteries

I'm doing a summer project and was wondering who makes the batteries that come in the kit, and where i can possibly buy one. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: 12 volt batteries

The batteries in the kit are the ES17-12, manufactured by MK Battery. They have a list of distributors/warehouses on the website.

Re: 12 volt batteries

If you're doing this just for a summber project, and don't need that specific FIRST legal battery, they are cheaper SLA (sealed lead acid) batteris available.

Re: 12 volt batteries

Please note that they're more or less standard motorcycle batteries. Unless you need your summer project to be FIRST legal, you can quite probably find a perfectly acceptable substitute at a local auto store or something. Probably for a lot less if you'd need to get it shipped from somewhere else.
