2007 FIRST Robotics Fantasy Football League
2007 FIRST Robotics League Koko's X-Cats Turtles The Stud Man Clan Nor Cal Crushers Evil Trav's Minions T-Hawks BaLIEr FoR rEaL Stevies Scapegoats Indiana Ironmen Gopher 461 baconbits Cromer Smash Mechanikats Army Bots WEEK 1 SCEDULE Nor Cal CrushersvsKoko's X-CatsThe Crushers look as tough as ever with Frank Gore, Reggie Bush and Marc Bulger on the roster. The X-Cats are hoping from a top line game from Travis Henry and solid games from Marshawn Lynch and Phillip Rivers. Cromer Smash vs..Gopher461 The Smash are going with Willis McGahee running on a weak Bengals D and Brain Westbrook vs. Larry Johnson with even less of a passing game to help him and Cedric Benson now having to carry the load in Chicago. Evil Trav's Minions vs. Stevies Scapegoats The Minions have Peyton Manning. The Scapegaots have Joey Harrington. Who do you think would be favored? BaLIEr FoR rEaL vs. Turtles The Turtles have Thomas Jones but I have no idea how healthy he is going to be. And Rudi Johnson could find it tough going against the Ravens. BFR has both Willie Parker and Clinton Portis and have a better opotunity to win that mathup especially with Parker against the Browns. Indiana Ironmen vs. Huskiers The Ironmen have the nasty combination of Donovan McNabb, Terrell Owens and LaDanain Thomlinson. The Huskiers need Tatum Bell, Jon Kitna and Vernand Morency to play WAY over their heads to have nay chance of keeping it close. Army Botsvs. T-Hawks The T-HYawks have Joseph Aadai and Ronnie Brown on their side whiloe Army Bot has Laurence Maroney and a hopefully recovered DeShaun Foster running hard for them. This one is looking really airtight from top to bottom but T-Hawks need to replace a missing defender in order to tip the balance to thier favor. baconbits vs. Mechanikatz There's a couple of interesting questions hovvering over this matchup: First. can Vince Young of the Mechanikatz break the Madden Curse and the Sophmore jinx and continue to thrive and is Ahman Green still a good fantasy player for baconbits or is Stephen Jackson going to have to carry the whole load? The answers will probably determine the winner of the game. |

Re: 2007 FIRST Robotics Fantasy Football League
2007 FIRST Robotics League W-L-T Pct Pts Streak T-Hawks 1-0-0 1.000 144.70 W-1 Indiana Ironmen 1-0-0 1.000 135.64 W-1 baconbits 1-0-0 1.000 126.16 W-1 Turtles1-0-0 1.000 124.08 W-1 Cromer Smash 1-0-0 1.000 111.44 W-1 Nor Cal Crushers1-0-0 1.000 111.18 W-1 Stevies Scapegoats1-0-0 1.000 102.06 W-1 Huskiers 0-1-0 .000 101.06 L-1 Evil Trav's Minions0-1-0 .000 100.42 L-1 BaLIEr FoR rEaL 0-1-0 .000 98.98 L-1 Mechanikats0-1-0 .000 96.82 L-1 Gopher 4610-1-0 .000 94.64 L-1 Koko's X-Cats0-1-0 .000 85.90 L-1 Army Bots0-1-0 .000 65.28 L-1 WEEK 2 SCEDULE Army Bots(0-1) vs.Koko's X-Cats(0-1) Game of the Weak! The two lowest scoring teams in the league face off. The X-cats are hoping from better production from Phillip Rivers this week while facing a strange problem where their best running back Travis Henry is facing their starting defense the Oakland Raiders. Meanwhile the Army Bots hoping from better production from Drew Brees. They have no such worries about Adrain Peterson and DeShaun Foster. Evil Trav's Minions(0-1) vs. Gopher461(0-1) The Minions will practically have the advantage every week at quarterback with Peyton Manning at the helm. Now they need Maurice Jones- Drew and Derrick Ward to step it up. Gopher is looking for Matt Lienart to get going and hope that both Cedric Benson and Larry Johnson have big weeks (my money goes on Benson). Cromer Smash(1-0) vs. baconbits(1-01) The matchup between the Smash's Wilis McGahee and Brain Westbrook vs. beconbits Stephen Jackson and Ahman Green could be a wash. So it comes down to how much the Smash's Ben Roethlisberger takes advantage of the depleted Bills defense while baconbits Carson Palmer will probably eat the Browns defense alive. Turtles(1-0) vs. Stevies Scapegoats(1-0) The Turtles most likely have a distinct advantage with Tom Brady over the Scapegoat's Joey Harrington. So where can the Scapegoats find hope? Steve Smith and Marvin Harrison may be it(especially if Lee Eveans and Laveranues Coles don't bring it Sunday) because there is no telling what Reuben Droughns or even Deuce McAllister will bring to the table? Indiana Ironmen(1-0) vs. BaLIEr FoR rEaL(0-1) The Ironmen look really tough with Donovan McNabb, LaDanian Thimlinson, Terell Owens and even Edgerrin James and Andre Johnson on board. BaLIEr FoR rEaL does have a major league wildcard with Willie Parker running on the depleted Bills defense and capable performers in Matt Hasselback, Clinton Portis, T.J. Houshmandzadeh and Javon Walker. T-Hawks(1-0) vs. Huskiers(0-1) This really looks like a massive mismatch with the T-Hawks bringing Tony Romo, Joseph Addia and Ronnie Brown vs. Huskiers Jon Kitna, LenDale White and Tatum Bell. The Cincy defense feasting on the incompetent Browns offense could be Huskier's ace in the hole. Nor Cal Crushers(1-0) vs. Mechanikatz(0-1) If Vince Young runs crazy on the Colts for the Mechanikatz then his matchup with the Crushers Marc Bulger is a little bit more manageable. The recivers and the running backs matchup are pretty even but the Crushers may get a big push from what the Steelers defense does to the Buffalo Bills. |

Joey Gallowway could be in for anotherbig day facing the Rams defense. The X-Cats are hoping Travis Henry can score some touchdowns this week and that Phillip Rivers breaks through. Watch out for Santana Moss against the Giants! Gopher461(1-1)vs. Turtles(2-0) Larry Johnson could be in for another long day for Gopher461 against the Vikings and Josh McCown is sought to pick up the slack? Ladell Betts is proabably the better choice for that. The Turtles have Tom Brady and Rudi Johnson and that may be all that they need. Cromer Smash(2-0) vs. Evil Trav's Minions(0-2) The Smash may have the advantage with Willis McGahee and Brian Westbrooke over Derrick Ward and the dissapointing Maurice Jones Drew. But the Minions have Peyton Manning and Ben Roethlisberger is going to have to be on top of his game to take him down. Stevies Scapegoats(1-1) vs. Indiana Ironmen(2-0) So long as the Scapegoats keep starting Joey Harrington they're going to need Stve Smith's best to take up the slack. The Ironmen are waitng for LT and McNabb to get stared but are riding TO and Edgerrin James good play so far. That's kind of scary. BaLIEr FoR rEaL(0-2) vs. T-Hawks(2-0) Matt Hasselback facing the clueless Bengals defense is a big score alert any day. I'm not sure how much I trust Lamont Jordan but I think Clinton Portis is also a safe bet for BaLIEr FoR rEaL The league leading T-Hawks need big games from Tony Romo and Randy Moss to stay on top. mechanicatz (1-1) vs.Army Bot(1-1) IT does not help when one team (Army Bot) has the starting back (Laurence Maroney) and the other team (mechanicatz) has his backup (Sammy Morris). The mechanicatz need Shaun Alexander to take it up to a new level. Nor Cal Crushers(1-1) vs. baconbits(1-1) The Crushers have some problems. Frank Gore is facing the Steelrs on the road, Reggie Bush has yet t show up and Marc Bulger is getting beaten to a pulp. Meanwhile the baconbits have a pair of Bulger's targets in Torry Holt and Steven jackson but they also have Carson Palmer who knows he has to outscore everyone in order to win. |

Cromer Smash(2-2) vs. Indiana Ironmen(4-0) The Ironmen are missing one warm body on their roster while the Smash are missing two. But the Ironmen have LT and TO and that means trouble for the Smash. The Smash needs big games from big Ben and Willis MaGahee to have any hope. Evil Trav's Minions(2-2) vs. Turtles(4-0) We get Brady vs. Manning early! The Turtles also have besides Tom Brady ,Laveranues Coles and Thomas Jones working for them. The Minions need some serious production from Brandon Marshall and Maurice Jones-Drew to keep up. Boilermaker!!@!(1-3) vs. mechanicatz (3-1) Will it be two in a row for Boilermaker!!@! ? mechanicatz has a better record but Shaun Alexander is hurting and Eli Manning is up and down. Boilermaker!!@! has Matt Hasselback, Clinton Portis and Willie Parker in the chamber (plus Chris Chambers for good measure). That's one tough out! Huskiers(1-3) vs. Nor Cal Crushers(1-3) The Huskiers are hoping to bounce back from their amazing 32 point output. Jon Kitna is a start but they need something from their backs. The Crushers are a huge disappointment. They need something from David Garrard, Reggie Bush and Kevin Jones. The answers are more likely to come from the defense. Army Bot(2-2)vs. baconbits(2-2) baconbits hamstrung themselves with an empty roster spot.Jeff Garcia and Plaxico Burress could help take up the slack. ArmyBot will be missing Laurence Maroney and Troy Polamalu so they need Matt Schaub to play bigitme. |

The Scapegoats got 16.10 points from DeShawn Wynn, 14.88 from Brett Farve and 14.70 from Steve Smith. They also had two big fat zeros from a pair of important contributors from an injured Marvin Harrison and Brandon Jackson. Gopher461(2-3)93.06 T-Hawks(4-1) 88.56 Biggest upset of the year so far! Gopher461 got 23.00 from Kris Brown, 17.90 from Dallas Clark,10.76 from Chad Pennington and 10.50 from Nick Barnett. The T-Hawks got 27.30 from Ronnie Brown, 14.06 from Tony Romo and 12.00 from Neil Rackers. But the T-Hawks were badly missing Joseph Addia's 22+ points a game. It also wouldn't have hurt if Tony Romo didn't turn the ball over six times in Buffalo. Indiana Ironmen(5-0) 101.82Cromer Smash(2-3) 92.54 The Iromen take the laegue lead with a close victory led by Jason Campbell's 19.92 points along with Donte' Stallworth 17.70 points, LaDainian Tomlinson's 17.00 points, Nate Kaeding's 12.00 points and Edgerrin James' 10.70 points. Just wow. Do the Huskiers have anyone on their roster who's actually starting? How do you score this few points? No one made it to double figures. The Crushers had 8 out of 10 of their players in double figures. Starting with 20.90 from Reggie Bush, 19.60 from Reggie Wayne, 19.00 from Kerry Rhodes, 18.00 from Tony Gonzales, 15.00 points from the Pittsburgh Steelers defense, 13.62 from David Garrad, 12.50 from DeMarcus Ware and 10.00 from Robbie Gould. baconbits(3-2)98.02 Army Bot(2-3)50.96 baconbits got 23.40 from Plaxico Burress, 21.90 from Torry Holt, 14.42 from Jeff Garcia and 14.00 points from Brandon Jacobs. Gopher461 is also trying to build momnetum off of a huge win hoping Larry Johnson breaks through finally against the Bengals. Cromer Smash(2-3) vs. T-Hawks(4-1) Both the T-Hawks and Smash are hoping to bounce back from disapointing losses last week. THe Smash are showing up with a full roster while the T-Hawks are starting players on a bye. They need a better game from Tony Romo nontheless. If the Snash get strong games from Willis MaGahee and Brain Westbrook it won't matter who they start. Evil Trav's Minions(2-3) vs. Indiana Ironmen(5-0) The Ironmen are now in the league lead and are looking to stay there thanks to LaDainian Thomlinson and Edgerring James. The Minions may be lobbing a hail mary hoping Derrick Ward starts on Monday night against the Falcons and may need an even bigger game from Maurice Jones-Drew and Derrick Anderson. baconbits(3-2)vs. Turtles(5-0) This is going to be a close one. Both quarterbacks will be strong with Tom Brady for the Turtles and Carson Palmer for baconbits. Both teams have two running backs lined up for strong games with Rudi Johnson returning from injury to run over the Chiefs defense and the Turtles got Bradon Jacobs flattening the demoralized Falcons defense. The wildcard is can the Turtles Thomas Jones step his production to make a difference. Watch the Turtles Jason Witten and baconbits Paxico Burress closely. Stevies Scapegoats(1-4) vs. mechanicatz (4-1) Eli Manning could be huge for the mechanicatz on Monday night. Shaun Alexander may break out this week as well. The Scapegoats reliance on the Green Bay Packers offensive backfield could make or break them. Steve Smith being saddled with David Carr could neutralize him better than any defensive back ever could. Boilermaker!!@!(1-4) vs. Nor Cal Crushers(2-3) The Crushers could be brought down by their running game with Reggie Bush and Chris Brown. They are looking for Tony Gonzales and Dwayne Bowe to exploit the Bengals defense. Boilermaker!!@! are looking for players on thier roster to exploit bigtime mismatches as well. T.J. Houshmandzadeh vs. the Chiefs, Matt Hasselbeck vs. The Saints and Braylon Edwards vs. the Dolphins. Army Bot(2-3)vs. Huskiers(1-4) The two lowest scoring teams last week take on one another. Army Bot is at least trying. The Huskiers look like they have thrown in the towel with half their roster on a bye. |

The T-Hawks who messed up considerably by failing to tend their roster got 26.00 from Ronnie Brown, 23.00 from the Baltimore Ravens defense, 17.90 from Randy Moss and 14.86 from Tony Romo. The T-Hawks playing Roy Williams and Joseph Aadia who were on a bye instead of Julius Jones and Jerricho Cotchery who combined for 19.8 points hurt them alot. Fortunately they have Willis McGahee and Brain Westbrook to pick up the slack. The X-Cats are hoping for good things from Travis Henry and Marion Barber III. Gopher461(3-3) vs. mechanicatz (4-2) Gopher461 wants Larry Johnson to build on his success but thier wildcard could be Wes Welker. The mechanicatz need a big game from Shaun Alexnader now that Sammy Morris is out.. Evil Trav's Minions(3-3) vs.T-Hawks(4-2) The Minions got a huge upset last week and are looking to do the same to the T-Hawks. To do so they neeed big points from Peyton Manning and Maurice Jones-Drew who run the risk of neutralizing one another. The T-Hawks need Tony Romo to continue to light it up.as well as Randy Moss. Ronnie is the Dolphins only chance and if he gets taken out of the Dolphins gameplan then it could hurt the T-Hawks considerably. Turtles(5-1) vs. Indiana Ironmen(5-1) A big time battle for first place. Both teams are coming off of disappointing losses. The Turtles want Tom Brady needs to overcome his personal demons in Miami because who knows what Brain Leonard and Thomas Jones will give them. The Ironmen are looking to TO and McNabb to lead them back to victory. Stevies Scapegoats(2-4) vs. Nor Cal Crushers(3-3) The Crushers aare looking to ride the steady play of David Garrand and could get some nice points from the Steelers defense. The Scapegoats need strong play from Brian Griese because Kenton Kieth is going back to the bench in Indy due to the return of Joseph Addia and part time Giants back Derrick Ward. Boilermaker!!@!(1-5) vs. Army Bot(3-3) Army Bot hopes Adrain Peterson can continue his strong play but the Patriots could be bigtime for them as well. Boilermaker!!@! came close to victory last week and are hoping for continued strong play from T.J. Houshmandzadeh and Willie Parker. Huskiers(1-5) vs. baconbits(4-2) Huskier aren't so mauled by byes thus week but are still missing a player. They need LenDale White and Jon Kitna to lead them out of the doldrums. baconbits need Carson Palmer and Plexico Burress to continue to tear it up to keep the winning streak going. |
