2008 Tel Aviv Regional!

Hi!

The regional in Tel Aviv will be a huge event this time with above 40 teams!
To be more accurate 42 teams from all over the country.

The kickoff event will take place in Herzelia on January 5, 2008.

The regional will be held in Nokia Arena in Tel Aviv like in previous years.
This year on 3/23/2008 - 3/25/2008 .

I really ope there will be a webcast so everyone can see where the best regional really is =]

Yep, Zcharia's Angels will be back this year with a come-back!

But siriouslly, I'm looking forward for this season being the best one from all of FIRST Israel's years.

Right now the FIRST site shows 22 teams registered for the Israel Regional, and 20 spots available for registration. According to the FIRST calendar of important deadlines yesterday was the last day for teams to register; however, there may be activity behind the scenes.

It would be very interesting to hear from Israeli teams that plan to participate but are not shown as officially registered yet. Jon asked for a roll-call in another thread. I'd like to echo that call here. Please sound off!

Well as a matter of fact my team is one of the teams yet to register but this is because we are having difficulties in retreiving our lost logon details.
I asked Alisha to help us out and we are waiting for her help.
We will be in the regional because Kiryat Motzkin is an ambitious team who wants to prove itself for the 2nd time and repeat our success from last year.

there will be 40+ teams. All the missing teams are missing because that FIRST Israel is bussy with the FLL Kick-Off held today, and the off season next week.
and by the way, one of those links doesn't work.

Good catch. Jon had deleted his earlier post. I update the link so it now points to his more recent one.
