Help the 2008 Israel Off Season

Hello Dear FRC community,

As some of you might know, the last week we had the first ever FRC off season in Israel. It was awesome!

We have already started working on the 2008 off season here in Israel.
This last event had absolutely no funs. Team registration was FREE, and the only money issue involved was transportation of the FRC field, which was kindly donated by FIRST Israel.

We would like to make this whole event bigger, better and funner!

Now, FaceBook has started in it's Cause application a period in which money will be given to any cause that raise a lot of members. It goes by 1,000$ a day if there are 32or more people added that day.

If you have a facebook account, please join our cause. If you don't please try and make an account and then join this cause. Thanks a lot.

Hi Liron. (I am the "tall guy" from shoham that slept at your house if you don't recognize my name or my facebook picture)

I joined the cause and invited some people too but the way I understood the "1000$ challenge" it has nothing to do with how many people joined to the cause that day but how many unique donors that cause had that day.

Daily Award

Fifty (50) $1,000 awards will be given every 24 hours to the cause with the most unique donors.

I think the best way to do this would be to:

1. understand what you need to do in order to get the money
2. organise people to do this all at once by:
   1. have a list of people willing to help
   2. contact them beforehand and make sure they all know to do it on the same day.

i think it's one day of unique donars and one day of joiners.

There is also gran prizes, which i tottaly think we can get.

If every second CD member who sees this ill join, we shoud have like at lease 500 members in this month, that will bting us to a 10000$ prize.
