Hurdling
I was reading through the rules and i started to speculate the validity of launching a ball as a justifiable method of hurdling. The second specification concerning hurdling says that the robot must be "in POSSESSION of a TRACKBALL" and i don't know if launching is considered possession. any thoughts?

Re: Hurdling
Actually, it has been deemed that launching is valid hurdling. There are a bunch of other threads on hurdling, and at least a few on launching. In summary, launching is legal as long as your robot is moving towards the overpass when it launches.
Here is a thread where this was discussed: http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=60727 |
