Team 375 won the first “Wayne Penn” Award for Excellent, Professionalism, and selflessness!

The bad news:
He requires a lot of care and feeding.

Having to deal with a deflated Track Ball this enterprising team grabbed the next best thing. Unfortunately for Wayne it didn't end well when he was tossed over the rack.

In anticipation of the long awaited "Water Game" teams have begun practicing throwing the winning Alliance Captain's Coach into the "pool".

I sure hope the water is softer than the carpet!

"Rules Update:

3.3.3 Mandatory Safety Glasses

For each competition, FIRST requires all teams to bring and supply ANSI-approved safety glasses for its team members, mentors, and guests. All individuals must wear them in the team Pit stations, the general Pit area, and the competition field. Safety glasses must be non-shaded, except for rose, blue, and amber tints. Additionally, individuals must wear safety glasses while:

• Crating and uncrating the robot
• Working on the robot
• Observing any robot building/repair work
• Carrying the Master of Ceremonies after winning the regional

Regular glasses do not qualify as safety glasses, and you must use approved safety goggles over them. Goggles are not required over glasses only if the glasses are ANSI-approved with side shields."
