Starting configuration at end of match?
Does the robot have to go to the starting position by itself after the game has ended or can you put it back manually.

We do this by taking our robot apart, for example; but that's something we design for from the beginning. |

since it is after the game you can do it mannualy if you want... either way works.
you dont have to do it though. You only need to do it at the start of a match hence the term "starting position" Last edited by Urban Hawk : 06-02-2008 at 16:00. |

Re: Starting configuration at end of match?
You can put it back manually. Be careful if you have an elevator that's driven by a motor though. To "manually" lower the elevator means you have to power on the robot to put the elevator down.
You must be able to release a game piece WITHOUT needing to turn the robot power back on. There is a rule near the beginning of Section 8 regarding this, however it has nothing to do with returning to the starting size. |
