Re: HELP!!!
No, you can only use the exact brand supplied in the kit. You can, however, purchase identical spare batteries.

Re: HELP!!!
If this is a true emergency and you don't have time to order new batteries, just remember to ask those around you if you could borrow 1. It is a major part, but some of the teams will have bought plenty of extras for the finals and might not need one of them until then. Also, they might work out some sort of a sharing agreement. They might not help(I wouldn't rule that out), but go ahead and ask plenty of teams and one of them will help in some way.

Re: HELP!!!
You are allowed to buy whatever batteries you'd like, but that doesn't mean they're legal for running with during matches. If you're talking about the main 12V motorcycle battery, you're allowed to buy and use more, but they MUST be the MK Battery ES-17 Battery (or whatever your kit battery is. it's way too early at the moment)
If you're talking about the backup battery, you're allowed to buy and use any 7.2V Ni-Cad battery you'd like. |
