2008 Predictions: Chesapeake Stylee

The Chesapeake Regional's one of the forgotten regionals on the week 3 agenda. Despite it's prime location, it's affiliation with the USNA makes it impossible to webcast at security levels above Yellow. 2) Few Chesapeake teams have had national success on the level of the Cheesy Poofs, PINK, Thunder Chickens, RUSH, or Frog Force.

However in its 5-year history, teams have shown that if you can win at Chesapeake, you can win anywhere and everywhere (note RAGE in 2005 and Chass (1218) in 2006).

The Roboraiders look to defend their Chesapeake victory and rebound after a lost New Jersey regional, while MORT (11), the Brigade (1980), and Team Discovery (134) look to build momentum into the Championship. However, this is FIRST Baltimore's house and there are plenty of teams ready to defend it, along with now "host" (voodoo} Powerhawks (1111) look to defend their turf against them all!

To upset it all, Area 53 and the Wrenchmen are back with a vengeance to put the crown back in the DC Area.

We're eagerly looking forward to our rookie regional. I don't know much about the other teams attending but our robot rocked at the BPI scrimmage. Should be a fun time!
